Girls Home

The Girl's Home will be a legacy through your generous hands.

Thousands and thousands of girls are abandoned and orphaned, forced to wander the streets, work in brothels or live in shelters. Many are abused or raped.

Shibu and Bini Zachariah, have long desired to reach out to the poor and orphans in India. There are already some children living in a temporary home but Shibu and Bini’s dream is to build a new, loving home that will house 200 girls.

“We want this to be like a home, not an institution. That is the vision of Bini and me – that these kids will be able to come back from school and have a place to relax and feel at home. All we need are the funds and we can begin,” says Shibu.

The Girls Home was dedicated in October, 2013.  The first floor is completed and the second floor is under construction. 25 orphan girls are now living in the new home and many more are waiting to be rescued.
