Boys and Girls Home

A major part of the world’s orphan population lives in underdeveloped countries. India has approximately 31 million orphans. Many come from single parent families that are unable to care for them due to their poverty-stricken conditions or the death of one or both parents. Orphan children are required to stay in the orphanages until they are 18. The plight for many is that they have no where to go and very little chances of work when they leave. They can end up on the streets.

Mission for Orphans helps support orphanages in 3 states of India. We were able to build one girl’s orphanage through the gifts of our donors and continue to support in south India. We also contribute monthly for the care of two additional orphanages. Our present goal is to build another girl’s home, with an education center, and living facility for girls without parents. Girls are not always wanted, some given away or run away into the streets. The orphans and street children are called “the invisible ones.”
